ABOUT US:

JimShirl Photography is Jim and Shirley White of Auburn, Calif. Jim is retired from the California Dept. of Fish and Game after a 36 year career in fish and wildlife work. Shirley taught school, raised 3 children and participated with Jim in conducting outdoor adventure trips and training programs for U.C. Davis, Sierra College and many others. Programs in Mountain Horsemanship, Wilderness Canoeing and Snow Survial were conducted in Canada ,Alaska and California. Many of their photographs reflect the environment where these programs were conducted. They continue to travel and photograph the backcountry and share their photographs.
